Job Summary

· Accept deliveries ensuring documentation records are correct, dated and signed.

· Ensure housekeeping received stock is fit for purpose, not damaged and correct to delivery note

· Keep record of stock-in and stock-out for internal use

· Carry-out frequent inventory checks and report any low stock to Purchasing Team

· Process agreed orders for set quantity of consumables to maintain stock levels

· Prepare kits in accordance with production schedule

· Handle, transport and store component parts as per training and instruction.

· Maintain high standards

· Use and maintain work equipment correctly & safely, as per Standard Operating Procedures.

· Work in accordance with relevant risk assessments and safe systems of work, as per Health &

Safety training and instruction.

· Complete daily safety checks to ensure work equipment is in good working order and report any

faults to line manager.

· Ensure all necessary records i.e. quality and health & safety, are maintained correctly and submitted

as required.

· Follow instructions provided by the Purchasing Manager/Senior Management and provide continual

feedback on matters such as material shortages, missing parts, safety hazards, quality standards etc.

· Comply with company policies and procedures.

· Ensure a suitable stock level of required components in Stores, maintain an organised system within Stores

and support the Stores team as & when necessary.

· Work closely with Supervisors & HSE Team to respond to urgent needs and timely replenishing of any

shortages.

· Follow procedures for dealing with defective goods and services.

· Participate in stock takes and implement work processes to improve stock accuracy.

· Provide information on procurement performance and progress to inform management’s strategic planning.

· Optimise the use of electronic systems and communication to maximise efficiency.

· Any other duties, within reason and capability, as agreed with the Purchasing Manager and Senior

Managers.

Essential

Qualifications:

  • Good standard of education to GCSE level or equivalent

Desirable

Qualifications:

  • Valid Forklift Truck licence

Relevant Experience / Knowledge

Essential

Relevant Experience/Knowledge:

  • Min 2years experience of organising materials & parts
  • A strong work ethic
  • Good IT Skills

Desirable

Relevant Experience/Knowledge:

  • Previous experience of co-ordinating matters within a high volume manufacturing environment.
